Stay Focused

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO.

It’s not a secret that faith combined with determination can create some outstanding outcomes. Just look around you.  We as humans have created marvels and masterpieces.  We have built skyscrapers, airplanes, submarines, and spaceships. So understand that once you decide you want to do something and once you make up your mind and really focus on completing it – there’s really no physical obstacle that can stand in your way.

The only real obstacle comes from the barriers you set for yourself.

A mental barrier is more powerful than any physical barrier on earth.

Because having the wrong mind set or should I say, if you already have made up your mind that you can’t do something, chances are you won’t do it. The reality is that you don’t even know if it can be done because you haven’t even tried.

Forgetful ass nigga, must I remind you.
Men do what they want, boys do what they can”- Young Jeezy

Even with his jaw wired shut from a near fatal accident Kanye West recorded one of the most iconic song’s to hit the Hip Hop Industry – “Through the Wire”. This song gained Kanye West recognition as not only being a producer, but as a real artist.
With only eight weeks of training, despite no marathon running experience, a recurring knee injury, and cramps that kicked in about halfway through, ”Diddy” finished the New York Marathon a 26.2 mile course.  He finished by coming in 11,359th out of 35,100 runners. Not only did the 33-year-old rap mogul finish in 4 hours, 14 minutes, and 54 seconds, but he also said his run raised $2 million for child-related charities, DOUBLE the funds he expected.
I’m willing to bet money “Diddy” probably got the best physical trainer he could find to condition his body but understand that no one but him could train and condition his mind to run and complete 26.2 miles.

William Kamkwamba, 14, from a small village outside the capital of Malawi, Africa, with no running water or electricity, and only an 8th grade education.  William Kamkwamba at age 14, using a book on windmills, he built a windmill from junkyard scraps in order to help provide electricity for his family. Since then, he has built a solar-powered water pump that supplies the fresh drinking water in his village and two other windmills.

Even in his small village, the rest of the villagers thought William was crazy building a windmill from junk. But believe it or not, there’s a very fine line between crazy and genus.  If you look back through history most invention were created out of necessity, even though William didn’t invent the windmill he built one out of necessity.

NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS IMPOSSIBLE; THE THINGS THAT SEEM IMPOSSIBLE ONLY TAKES LONGER TO DO.

NO ONE CAN TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN OR CANNOT DO.

So once you decide you are going to accomplish something and you believe you can accomplish it, your biggest obstacle is out of the way – You.
